I heard in another post that it is easy to get a visa for family to visit people in Japan now and my sister has been waiting to visit since around the start of the pandemic. But we want her long term partner to join her.
Is it possible to get him a visa as well?
If it matters I’m from the US, my wife is Japanese and sister and partner are both from the US.

Not even my sister‘s husband and child were allowed to enter in March with her as they were not related enough to me. As far as I know not much changed in that regards.
