So I just started playing video games in Japanese, and in Final Fantasy VII cloud says this to Barret, when he explains what Shinra is doing. I do not understand what it means in this context.
From memory it’s the scene where Barrett is justifying why Avalanche is doing what they’re doing in response to Shinra so the best translation would be “You don’t have to sing your own praises”.
