I’ve legit laughed out loud more than a few times while doing Wanikani lessons. It’s a great resource.
Yesss this was one of my personal favorites. I would love to be a fly on the wall when they come up with all of these because there are some *serious* gems.
Lol. But at the same time, after awhile, yes, にち it is. Like いちにち, and… にじゅうににち, I guess?
I wanted to like wanikani back in the day but distinctly recall being put off by being forced to type readings for individual Kanji. Massive waste of time. Learn readings through vocabulary set in context of i+1 sentences.
At some point I stopped reading the mnemonics and just memorized everything straight up, only if I’m really having trouble do I look at the mnemonic
