  1. I never had it raw before. I had cooked horse meat as a dim sim and it tasted a bit like pork.

  2. I remember it tasting like a salami or cured meat but without any saltiness. A cross between pork and venison perhaps.

  3. Horse meat is very lean, hence the chewyness.
    Thought it was OK, till it warmed up to room temperature, then you could detect an odor.

  4. Nice I had some a while back in Shibuya at a revolving sushi spot as nigiri. Was very chewy but I definitely enjoyed

  6. I’ve never been brave enough for 馬刺し, what’s the texture like? Guessing more chewy than beef tataki?
