Does anybody know a gym in Tokyo where it is possible to participate in sparring? I tried Teiken Gym but they currently do not allow non-professionals because of Covid-19. Thanks in advance.
What area? My main gym is in kinshicho and anyone can spar as long as theres a willing partner. I’ve also gone to spar at a bunch of gyms in the area. My experience is that if you stay away from the top level gyms, you can spar at any gym if you introduce yourself. Gyms with world champs like Watanabe gym and teiken aren’t gonna let just anyone spar, even the lower level pros at those gyms have to earn sparring time.
