  1. What? Is this real? This can’t be real, what the fuck.

It’s fucking real, what is happening? WWE allowing this to happen is absolutely wild. I didn’t think wrestling could get any madder but here we are.

  2. Come on NOAH. Give him his subconscious theme just one more time…give us that small bit of hope

  3. Could be just that WWE wants Muta for the HoF next year so they did NOAH a favor. But still Nakamura vs Muta at NOAH right before WK is extremely weird.

  4. For anyone getting too excited, keep in mind they also let “Hideo Itami” do a one off against Marafuji, seems like they have a great relationship with NOAH but I wouldn’t say it signals anything with New Japan.

But also, HOLY FUCKING SHIT! Praying Shinsuke dusts off his working boots for this one.

Edit: also, I haven’t seen a Muta match in years, how heavy of a carry job does Nakamura have here?

  5. Has anyone had a retirement tour on the level of Muta this is some goat shit, wrestling Sting and Nakamura while both are working for big american companies is something I’ve never seen

  6. Totally insane! Just saw this and this could indeed open the door to WK! Holy shit!!!

  7. I woke up surprisingly, SURPRISINGLY!, needing to use the restroom, YET THIS! is more surprising 😮

  8. What IF, just IF, we do Karl Anderson holding the title hostage and saying he’ll only defend it at the biggest show in the dome because that’s where a star like him belongs. He comes out and issues an open challenge to anyone back there and Nakamura’s final NJPW theme hits?!?! The pop would be INSANE! I know huge IF but just thinking about it and wow I’m speaking it into existence…

  9. There are people on twitter legitimately saying this is bigger than AEW & New Japan working together and I all have to say about that is…

**Kenta worked a NOAH one-off while still in WWE.** it’s cool that Nakamura gets to do this though.

  10. I think this is a lot more like when WWE allowed Kenta to work the Marufuji anniversary show than a sign that they’re suddenly going to be working regularly with other promotions. Unless they start mentioning Nakamura working this show on TV or their socials, I’m going to assume it’s just a one time thing. Maybe HHH also agreed to let him wrestle or make an appearance at WK, which would be pretty cool as a surprise.

It’s also interesting to see the AEW fans who claim to like companies working together suddenly really concerned about WWE working with NOAH and potentially New Japan.

  11. This is really fucking dope, but are people forgetting that WWE also sent NOAH KENTA for the Marufuji back in 2018, and NOAH were one of the companies WWE (specifically under HHH’s guidance) was looking into purchasing. It doesn’t surprise me that they still have a good enough relationship to do something like this.

  12. Does NOAH/CyberFight have full time English commentary? How much is a Wrestle Universe subscription?

  13. On a discussion of fashion, I am still on the fence of Nakamura wearing yellow. Without looking at it through the lens of race, the yellow gear Is really close to his skin color and I’m not sure if I like it or not… thoughts?

EDIT: shit, apparently people don’t care much for a fashion discussion. Think about me next time you marvel about someone gear or entrance, like Charlotte Flair at WM Orlando.

Meanwhile, I’m gonna hang out with the gays who will read a bitch for wearing white after Labor Day. *grumble-grumble*

  14. I can’t wait for that I can not wait I never seen shinsuke nakamura ever wrestled in pro wrestling noah before I can not wait for next year pro wrestling noah the new year ppv I can’t wait to see them go against each other in pro wrestling noah the great muta going against shinsuke nakamura for the first time in pro wrestling noah I can’t wait this is going to be great.

  15. Muta is a masterful politiker and negotiator.

This is cool tho, dudes about to finesse being on the New Year show and WK and probably get a cool match for both.

  16. Well didn’t have Shinsuke wrestling in Japan in the year of our lord 2023 on my bingo card, but consider me hyped! Too bad I don’t have a way to watch NOAH.

Anyone think WWE will put it on the Network/Peacock?

  17. Wait did he get released? Or is Triple H actually being a bad ass MF for allowing this ??

  18. Good for NOAH.

But really have to question why NJPW couldn’t get him for WK but instead running a storyline for fucking Karl Anderson.

I actually think the product has been better this year but I am really losing faith in NJPWs management.

  19. Tanahashi was over at Noah’s big show today and went against Keiji Muto, so the relationship between NJPW and NOAH is good I would say, making it more possible to also have Nakamura do something with NJPW once he is over here in time for WK.

His “match” against Great Muta will be a gimmick match as Muta can’t do any proper or long matches. So, he will have the energy to do some other stuff for sure, if he wanted and was allowed.

  20. I think this really show how much of an influence Mutoh has had on the business. I’m really hoping that Nakamura will get to do a tag match or something at wrestle kingdom a few days later but I have a feeling this may be just to send off Mutoh.

  21. People forget under Vince, wwe gave Kenta the blessing to go to NOAH to face Maraufuji in his 20th anniversary. Granted the possibilities are more real now though.
