Ok guys, maybe this topic is for dating_advice but I think this can go to this sub.
So I’ve ‘met’ a japanese girl at work (she works for a Japanese subsidiary and she constantly goes to our company) the thing is that we started exchanging some looks and smiles, just the normal things you know.
We’ve been doing this for 6 months but we haven’t talked each other. The big problem for us is that we work for Japanese companies and it is prohibited, well not only prohibited, it is strictly prohibited to date a coworker.
The thing is that she quit 2 months ago and my first thought was obviously talk to her, I have her Instagram, but working with Japanese I’ve understood that it isn’t that simple.
So I let 2 months with no contact bc maybe she was down bc of her job lost but now what?
So what’s your best advice in this situation guys? Ty

When in doubt, whip it out…. strictly talking about your phone so you can contact her.
It seems like you’re not great friends, so it’s not like you can ruin a friendship. Just ask her to get some coffee during a day off just to get a feel. And see what happens.
My brother in christ text her “I miss seeing you at the office” and if she says anything remotely positive ask her out to coffee or something and go from there
