Student Visa While in US University

I am currently enrolled as a student in a university in the US. I am interested in going to a language school in Tokyo on a student visa. Is there any regulation that would prohibit me from doing both at the same time? My college has online-only options so it is doable from that end. I would take a lighter workload to not get overwhelmed, I just wanna make sure it’s actually permitted as far as the visa goes

  1. As long as you’re not getting paid, what you choose to do in your free time is up to you.

Just keep in mind that for the purposes of your visa, your primary purpose would be the language school. Which means that you need to maintain a passing grade and minimum attendance levels.
