Can’t the wife and the kid(s) have two surnames like in Brazil and Spain?
? My maiden last name is in my husband’s koseki tohon and I have had no issues with this at all.
Obsolete japanese laws here we go again.
I’m preparing to move back to Japan, but my husband and I are both American citizens. We are legally married but have different last names because I didn’t change mine (and his is very difficult to read and say in both English and Japanese). I always wonder if it’ll be a problem and if we should preemptively change our names here so they’re the same. Laws like this make things so confusing.
Are they made into croutons? Are they processed into bread crumbs? https://www.reddit.com/r/japan/comments/16ugupp/what_happens_to_all_the_crusts_that_are_cut_off/
