Just had a inspector from Cainz come and check out below my house for bugs and the like and he told us we don’t have any bugs, but we should take care of a mold problem. We have a wood house, and he showed us a bunch of pictures of white mold and black mold creeping into the wood. We bought the house used about two and a half years ago. The house is roughly 20\~ years old but was reformed before we bought it.
They would use the リグノケアeフロアブル brand chemical to spray the wood. For 14.6坪 the cost is about 18万.
The inspector made it seem like a fairly normal thing that most houses go through every so and so years. (I think he mentioned getting it checked every 5?)
Does this seem pretty normal? Is the price acceptable?
I can find tons of info to remove normal カビ but when it comes to owning a house in Japan it seems a bit harder to find the right information.
Any help would be appreciated.

okay is the mold on your floor joists or do you have a post and pier foundation?
I’d be more worried about where the moisture is coming from that’s getting under the house, honestly this seems unusual. As far as spraying you can get a garden sprayer and probably the chemicals and do the same thing – check into it.
