No. Last time I went to PH, I had to show my return ticket and that was good enough for immigration.
The airline staff might ask you about your return trip. Just show them proof you have a return ticket, or proof you have a reason to stay without a return ticket.
I went to visit my family in the US. When I went to the airport to come back to Japan, I had to show proof I was a resident in Japan to check in because there was no record of my return ticket to the US.
