RResidents in Japan

What exactly do I have to do to return to Japan if i have residence? getting worried

I left 2 weeks ago to Europe to visit family. I have 3 vaccine certificates. I thought i could just go to the airport on my flight day, they’ll ask to see them, and thats that.

I’m reading all kinds of stuff like I have to download an app, apply on websites etc now. Is this just for people without residency/zairyu?

  1. Download the MySOS app then google how to use it.

    And seriously – why didn’t you look this up BEFORE you traveled?

  2. Everyone has to do it. I went on a large business trip to the states and we almost missed our flight because the travel agency provided incomplete instructions on how to use MySOS. Look it up now.

    Also you might just be effed if you didn’t get proof of your vaccines already. You need to submit them in order for SOS to even work.
