  1. It would help to know first if you’re a woman, a man or a couple trying to conceive together.

Also, define ‘here” would also help. Japan is a big country.

  2. My partner and I used Oak Ladies clinic in Ginza. I believe the main office is in Osaka. A big part of the treatment is covered by insurance depending on your current circumstances (age etc)that the clinic will tell you when you consult with them. We surprisingly had success after the first trial, despite our chances being below 21%. We’re still in the early stages regardless and still some speed bumps but we’re very hopeful. Sorry if I couldn’t really get detailed my partner was the well researched one and really did a deep dive into the process. The doctors at Oak are amazing and I believe Dr. Taguchi from Osaka is a leading expert in the field.

  3. From this year, both IUI and IVF (ART) are covered by the national health insurance. Meaning you only pay 30% of the cost. I don’t remember if there is a limit for IUI. But for IVF, you’re covered for 6 full procedures (from culturing the eggs to extraction to implantation).
