Moving to Tokyo for school and I’m hoping to stay with other international students. I’m going to Sophia university and they have a couple dorms but it’s not guaranteed so looking for other options. I ran across this company that seems to offer sharehouses with a focus on those who are international students and I’m wondering if anyone has heard of them or stayed with them before and if so what your experience was like.

I lived in a BeGood sharehouse in Tokyo for a year. I found them through a list of university-approved housing. They are legit. Pretty much what you’d expect from a small house with a lot of people in it– kinda gross, not a ton of space, small room, shared bathrooms/showers/kitchen. Overall not bad, especially for the price, if the downfalls are things you could live with. It worked great for me. However, it was a bit of a pain to get my deposit back upon moving back to my home country.
