I’m leaving after an extended stay and need a cheap, nearly disposable hard side luggage to cart home some new possessions. I wasn’t impressed with Donki’s prices on luggage. Can anyone suggest an alternative? I’m in Shibuya with a friend foru last few days here..

Might not have any right in the middle of the city (Shibuya) but Aeon supermarkets have their own brand that are great and reasonably priced! If you can get to an Aeon Mall check the luggage section of the Aeon supermarket
Duffle bags for clothes and check- on any breakable in a cardboard box?
Cardboard box is your best bet. Even after paying to courier the box to the airport, it’ll be cheaper than buying a suitcase. Plus, they’re light and you can make them fit just under the airline’s maximum size
