Traveling to Kobe in November. Need advice.

Will be going on a day tour in Kobe in November. We’re coming from Osaka, and we’ll be traveling via the Hanshin Line. Is it possible to cover all these destinations in one day?

-Sannomiya Center Gai Shopping Street
-Kitano-Cho
-Rokko Terrace Garden
-Kobe Harborland

I’m aware that they’re quite far from each other. Can you guys help me how to get from one place to the other? I’ve read that I’ll need to ride Bus 16 to reach Rokko Terrace Garden and another bus to go to Kobe Harborland. For more context, we’ll be using Hanshin Tourist Pass.

Hoping for some advice. Many thanks!

  1. I don’t really see you doing all four locations in a single locations. Harborland closes up at 9pm, so that gives you some leeway, but I would probably drop Sannomiya Center Gai since unless you have specific stores to visit since there is probably not much you can’t find around Namba, Umeda or Tenjinbashisuji.

    As for getting around:

    * Rokko Terrace Garden to Kitano-cho – cable car, #16 bus, #2 bus
    * Kitano-cho to Sannomiya – walk
    * Sannomiya to Harborland – you can take Hanshin line to Kosoku Kobe

    Technically, if you skip Sannomiya shopping, you can take #7 bus, but it will take same amount of time as walking, so just walk to Sannomiya and take Hanshin line.
