Suddenly, this topic has come up a lot and apparently there’s a lot of people passionate and/or curious about multinationals losing one of their nationalities.
To me it sounds like something a politically motivated right wing troll farm would benefit from.
I see a lot of nonsense information out there with no statistics to back up anything being said.
Just fear-mongering.
There’s no proof that some sort of mass insurance or medical fraud is happening by dual-nationals, and you won’t be stripped of one of your citizenships at the airport or anywhere else.
I can’t tell if the naysayers derive sexual pleasure from following rules, are deeply conservative in nature, or part of an organized misinformation campaign.
I have no evidence to support any theories and neither do they.
Be skeptical of any statement, made by a stranger on the Internet.
So here’s my opinion:
Dual citizenship is a wonderful, wonderful thing and when I look into the faces of my children, I see unlimited possibilities.
Anyone who says anything that sounds like taking food off my kids plates, or opportunities out of their lives is irritating to me.

I am pretty sure actually a lot of those ring wingers would love to have a second citizenship just to jump off the ship if something gets nasty in their own country.
Just ignore them. Use your own judgment. You kids are dual citizens as birth and it’s very unlike that the rules will change for the worse
