[Itinerary Check] 2 Weeks Mid-March|Tokyo-Hakone-Osaka-Tokyo

I originally planned this for the fall of 2020, had everything purchased and ready to go February 2020, then well…
Anyway, finally our time has come!
I tried to be as detailed as possible, as well as not pack the days too full. Activities are flexible, we will add/remove/replace things as we feel for the day; my goal was mainly to have a structure we could follow.

(Prices and trains are rough estimates)

I don’t believe we’ll need a JR pass for this trip, but we will be purchasing the Hakone Free Pass (at Odawara since no round trip).
-Does anyone know if I can add multiple Suica/Pasmo cards to an iPhone? It’d be easier manage my groups cards that way.

As it stands I have 2 days free in Tokyo, likely one for rest and I’m considering one to visit the Fuji 5, but open to other ideas.

I have placed a one day return to Tokyo at the end so that we may purchase the majority of our goodies and souvenirs, to avoid dragging everything across japan.

  1. You need one Suica/Pasmo by person, either physical of virtual version. It would be highly impractical to scan the same phone and switch between the different cards when getting in the train (if that was even possible).

Tokyo One Piece Tower closed a long time ago.

Would do Shibuya Sky instead of Gov. Building for the view on Tokyo.

I would suggest to get to Hakone earlier and you can drop you luggage at Hakone-Yumoto for it to be delivered same day to your ryokan.

  2. > Komagatake Ropeway

Just so you know, the Hakone Free Pass does not cover this ropeway so you’ll be paying for it separately.
