Solo trip in December 2022

I’m planning a trip to Hokkaido in December and I need help assessing if my plan is feasible.

I’ll be based in Kyoto and leaving Kyoto to Hokkaido on Dec 17 in the early morning. Assume all trains are the earliest possible and nothing is booked yet. I’ll have a all japan JR pass too.

Dec 17: fly into Hakodate early morning (Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse, Mount Hakodate, Hachiman Zaka Slope)
Dec 18: JR train to Noboribetsu (Jigokudani)
Dec 19: JR train to Otaru (Fishing ground, canal, sushi street)
Dec 20: JR train to Sapporo (Sapporo Ramen Republic, Susukino, Clock tower, crab market, Moiwa Observation Deck)
Dec 21: JR train to Asahikawa (ramen village) then bus to Biei (Shirogane blue pond) then back to stay in Asahikawa
Dec 22: back to Sapporo for whatever else I missed and fly out to Tokyo

What do you think?

Also I really REALLY want to go to Abashiri and go on the ice drift cruise. I can be flexible with my departure date up until Dec 24 but I understand Abashiri is quite far to get there and all the way back to Sapporo to fly out. Is it possible to add? Is it worth skipping any of my other locations?

Side note: does anyone know how to find concerts happening in Japan? (Tokyo, Osaka etc) Songkick/bandsintown doesn’t have much but that might be due to covid restrictions

Thank you!!
