I’m going to Japan with my friends in late November to early December and we’d love to go to the Fujikawaguchiko / Fujiyoshida area, but we have a very tight itinerary already and I wonder if it’s possible to fit the following within 2 days:
Day 1:
\- Arakurayama Sengen Shrine / Chureito Pagoda
\- Mt Fuji Panoramic Railway
\- Oishi Park
\- Oshino Hakkai
Day 2:
\- Fuji-Q Highland
\- Gotemba Outlet
For Fuji-Q Highland, I’m wondering whether it’d be possible to conquer 3-4 rides (Fujiyama, Takabisha, Eejanaika and possibly another depending on wait times…) within ideally 3 or 4 hours at most? We plan to go on a weekday, in the first week of December which I’m anticipating won’t be too busy as it isn’t the “peak” period. I’d like to arrive around 8:30 am (30 min before opening time at 9:00 am) and stay until maybe 12:30 pm or 1:30 pm to take the shuttle bus to Gotemba Outlet. I also hope to buy the priority pass for Eejanaika and/or Fujiyama if available.
Alternatively, I’m thinking we could buy the afternoon pass (entry for 1 pm) combined with priority passes (not sure if they’d be available after 1 pm) and stay for 2-3 hours. This would be our alternative itinerary with everything “condensed” into 1 day:
\- Arakurayama Sengen Shrine / Chureito Pagoda
\- Mt Fuji Panoramic Railway OR Oishi Park
\- Fuji-Q Highland
\- Oshino Hakkai
Does this sound possible? If there is anything I should change, switch up or cut out? I’ve been wanting to go for so long so I may a little ambitious…
Also, would anyone recommend buying a 1 or 2-day bus pass? If so, which one?
Thank you! I’m so excited and I’d appreciate any advice 🙂

I’d recommend 4 hours at the absolute minimum for Fuji-Q. It’s one of the most fun and unique experiences in the country, but a long day from Tokyo and not super easy to get to iirc. 3 rides in 3 hours sounds doable, though.
Outlet malls tend to be more or less the time everywhere you go.
I went about 2 years ago, also during Dec weekday. went early and to enter on opening time, 1st ride with no queue. Honestly wasn’t too many people early of the day, could be because its cold in Dec. pretty sure I did more than those 4 rides in 3-4 hrs.
