Hi all! I’ve been wanting to get back into playing tenor saxophone after taking a break for a few years so I’ve been looking for band to play with. I’m looking for a community wind ensemble/concert band in the Tokyo area. My Japanese is pretty poor right now, so ideally I’d like to find a band that is conducted in English, or even just partially. Does anyone know of one, or some resources that I could use to find one?

Where about in Tokyo are you? You should Google 吹奏楽団 (suisou gakudan) + your area.

Might be tricky to find one in English but it’s a great chance to practice your Japanese.
