Can anyone confirm that the “Prince Route” is still an optional route to hike Mt. Fuji?

There’s a small section of trail that travels through the Hoei Crater from the Fujinomiya Trailhead. This trail is marked by the falling rocks warning.

I was wondering if this trail was accessible this past hiking season? I cannot confirm from my own research.
