Hi, So I am trying to plan a trip with a couple of my friends and we are thinking of going in mid may 2024 or something in the next year. I want to know when would be the best to get cheap flights from east coast. also how to make an itinerary for it. (plan on going after sakura season and golden week)

This is not a cheap time to go to Japan as Sakura (Cherry Blossom) Season can be anywhere from March to April and then you’ve got Golden Week from Late April to Early May
You want to look at mid May at the earliest for slightly cheaper (and less crowded) options
