Just built a new house and deck is finally finished. Parents also in town visiting and dad insists on going to get a bbq.
Any recommendations for where one can buy a good propane bbq? I know Costco and Amazon are options, but wondering if there are others (like specific home centres or other department stores)
Thanks all!
Cheers!

You’re gonna pay out the ass for it if you get it in town. Best bet is google your location and add bookoo to it ( ex Okinawa Bookoo). You can usually find stuff pretty cheap 2nd hand from military members rotating to a new duty station.

I know just the right guy!
Depends on your budget, but most will be shipped.
Also, if you get one that uses a regular propane tank, make sure you have a local place where you can get it refilled.
If you want it quickly, Costco usually has the Weber Q’s in stock, I have one and it is convenient, runs off the mixed butane/propane camping gas canisters. Though I have been thinging of upgrading.

Camping shops have a wide array of barbecues, ranging from the mini takibi just big enough to warm your coffee to the party size barbecue.
