Medal games

I still haven’t figured out the purpose of medal games. You pay for a bucket of coins, play some games like slots or coin pushers and then lose or win more coins. But it doesn’t appear that you can’t trade them for prizes or anything. So do people just play for the exhilaration of winning coins?

  1. It’s just a game like any tv games. It’s not my thing but I played with others who enjoy ut. Kind of same as score in games .

  2. Killing time.

My son and I spent an hour playing off of 1000 yen. Still had 400 medals, but we called it a day

  3. Yes. It’s basically the equivalent of playing video games. Medals can not be exchanged for prizes because gambling is illegal, and unless something changes the loopholes granted to Pachinko and sports racing is already closed

  4. Also, medal games are a cheaper (and less consequential) alternative to playing pachinko/slots.
