The second hand car that I bought a week ago, let out \[Please check hybrid system\] notification while driving .
Some short internet search told me to get a OBD reader to find out the problem.
Anyone have any similar experiences? Would like to hear it if any.

What are you going to do after you spend money on a OBD reader and it tells you the same thing? You’re not going to play with high current / high voltage parts by yourself.
My advice: take it to Toyota shop and ask. They will know what to do with it.
It basically means your car needs maintenance. Take it to a Toyota dealer or independent car shop that does hybrids.
Did you get a warranty with it? Talk to the dealer first and tell them so they can start the warranty process. Then take it to a Toyota shop.
