Just finished reading supposedly one of the hardest pieces of contemporary japanese literature (Dies Irae)

Took a total of 84h32m (calculated with ManicTime) (average playtime is 75h (https://vndb.org/v548)

I started it on the 3rd of September and played it like ~1h/2h everyday but of course there were days when I played more and days where I didn’t play at all.

I had ~8000 anki cards when I started and now I have around 13500

I had ~2200 kanji on my grid and now I have 2857. (Using https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/909972618)

The only reason I was able to finish this game is because it actually was a pretty good game (unlike a lot of other visual novels). Nice story and nice characters.

Don’t know what else to say so if you have any questions please ask away, I’m just happy because this is my biggest japanese achievement yet and just wanted to share it 🙂
