3. IIRC, he had just competed in BOSJ as a babyface and said he would never join BC when asked. I remember thinking he was a huge dweeb at the time with all his video game moves but immediately changed my mind when he became a heel. I think this really pissed off DDT because he joined New Japan right after his DDT contract expired.

   Imo, this was his best character work rather than the (non-kayfabe) arrogant tweener he would later become.

4. Man that’s fucking wild that it’s been 8 years lol. This is a bit after I started really following/regularly watching New Japan, so just feels crazy to look back on.

5. Not gunna lie. Jericho got me into NJPW, Omega got me to stay. Since Omega left (+ covid booking disruptions and no cheering rules) my interest in NJPW has waned.

   Omega was just incredible in everything he did. I wish he stayed even one more year. He was just getting started at the top of the top of the card.

8. one of my favorite njpw wrestler and my favorite first favorite aew wrestler kenny omega I will never ever forget watching kenny wrestling in njpw with the bullet club and I will never forget all my favorite kenny omega njpw matches cool look for him to in the bullet club with the all black jacket and the sun glasses I won’t forget when I was watching a classic wrestle kingdom 9 2015 match and wrestle kingdom 10 2016 where it has my only two favorite wrestle kingdom 10 2016 matches of all time my boy aj styles vs nakamura one on one for the old iwgp intercontinental title and kenny omega vs kushida one on one for the iwgp jr heavyweight title these matches where great and it was my first time seeing aj and nakamura going against eachother in njpw biggest ppv wrestle kingdom that match was great and brutal and the first time seeing kenny omega vs kushida wrestle kingdom 10 2016 match for the iwgp jr heavyweight title which was a great match to of my favorite wrestle kingdom 10 2016 matches in my list that I won’t forget.
