I have been in Japan on a working holiday visa for about 4 months now.
When I entered Japan I got a visa for 6 months, as Canadians (and I believe Australians also) must apply for another 6 months’ extension separately.
Does anyone have recent experience with this? I tried looking for info online and noticed people were saying different things.
So far, I know I need to fill out the extension application form + get the stamps + print out the Canadian embassy’s page stating the extension allowance.
I am wondering:
– do we need to provide another written statement on our itinerary for the next 6 months?
– do we need to provide a financial statement/proof of funds?
