  1. It was a pretty fun match but I had a hard time suspending my disbelief that OC could beat the wrestler. Shibata just oozes legit badass vibes and OC is…well…a human sloth.

  2. “If my own company wouldn’t let me wrestle due to concerns for my health, why wouldn’t I want to work with AEW? That fucker in Jacksonville lets anyone wrestle!”

  3. I’m over the moon to get to see Shibata wrestle (especially against some of the best wrestlers on Earth, if he’s in AEW for more than a cup of coffee) but I still selfishly want the chance to see him wrestle in Japan again soon.

  4. New Japan doctors won’t clear Shibata but AEW’s will? That… doesn’t make any sense. But then again, AEW is going to let Paige wrestle again with her neck injury so who knows who’s in charge of medicals in that company.

  5. Loved the idea of the match. It gave Shibata and Orange Cassidy something to learn from each other. Not your typical blockbuster match, more somerhing for them personally, free for us to enjoy.
