What seemingly simple Kanji/word do you keep forgetting?

起きる was taught fairly early in my class on its own and Kanji not too long after, but for whatever reason, I can never remember either the meaning or reading for it. How about you all?

  1. It took me ages to remember to translate 分ける as “to divide”, not “understand”. And to not read 行う as 行く. These are both such simple kanji and I hate stuffing them up. Sometimes, things just don’t want to stick.
