I moved to a new apartment a week ago and after a little research I find that the new place is wired with NTT internet cable box I see it inside the room this was written on it (NTT and the kanji å…‰) . And have a talk with the management company and they told me the owner is refusing to install another line that required construction like Nuro or Au . So I decided to go on the easy road and I chose NTT docomo.
But today I get a call from JCom tolding me that the owner is having some deal with them and the whole mansion is a JCom territory 🤣 I was confused and I told him that I already choose Docomo so he start talking about cancelation with docomo and no penalty and other non sense staff . So is it really an obligation for me to make a contract with JCom or is the staff just saying nonsense ?!

Definitely not JCOM. It’s CATV and shitty up/down bandwidth.
First, you should be able to keep your NTT Hikari nevertheless.
My guess at what is happening is that your landlord started a J:COM In My Room contract for your building. This will typically give you free J:COM internet at speed chosen by the owner (12, 40, 120Mbps, etc). If this is the case, then going with J:COM can be cheaper if you don’t require Hikari speed. I am using free J:COM 120Mbps download / 12Mbps upload for a few years without any problems, but I don’t game nor stream.
