Questions for USJ in November

I’m planning to visit USJ next week with the fam and a 4 year old and checking the tickets now. The Japanese site is very very confusing there are so many different tickets and not sure which one applies to me.

Then checking the English ticket page its easier but the price is at least 1000 yen more expensive? Am I seeing this correctly?

Also, what are some recommended attractions for a 4 year old. How much more does entry to Nintendo world cost? And lastly, on a weekday in November, will there be long lines? Should I expect long waiting times and would it be better to get an “express”? pass?

  1. I’m going tomorrow!! I think the price is different because there’s a campaign right now for people with completed vaccines/negative COVID tests and they only posted it in the Japanese version. Nintendo World doesn’t cost extra BUT you have to get a timed ticket the moment you enter USJ and then to make the most of the experience most people recommend buying the Nintendo powerband so you can do all the activities at the park.

Weekdays are definitely better but the waiting times can still be long because of the discounted tickets. Best to install the application so you can check the wait times, and buy an express pass for the rides you really want to get on.

  2. Def get the app they have!! If you do the entry ticket thing for Mario at the start of the day via the app, you can pick from the available times.

  3. I went there on Halloween day. It was quite crowded on a weekday. The entry to Nintendo world is free, but you need to get a timed entry ticket. It was in the center of the park to get that ticket. I recommend you get it first thing when you go into the park, so you get the earliest entry time. At 10am, the earliest I could get was 4pm.
