Hello
I might go to Japan next year on a working holiday visa and I am thinking about living and mainly rent costs.
Fukuoka seems to be a decent sized city and fairly affordable but even though airbnb has some pretty good apartment options, I wouldn’t say there are plenty.
I’ve read online about some other ways to find apartments, like gaijinpot. However, I’m not sure if I can find an ”official” apartment since I probably wont be working regularly or a lot. I’m sure the landlords usually check your income and similar things. I will have study tuition which is quite a good income but not sure how viable it would be to claim as a main income.
Is Airbnb my best option?
