Itinerary check

Hey All! See below my itinerary and see if it makes sense? Only going for a few days and trying to make the most (this is the second time in going)

Japan Itinerary November 22-25

November 22
– Land in Tokyo Narita at 3:00PM
– Get car and go to Hotel/Airbnb
– Explore Shibuya/Asakusa
– Eat some good food (most likely Wagyu beef)

November 23
– Early morning, leave to go to Zeniarai Benzaiten Ugafuku Shrine and explore l
– Than go to mount omuro and explore
– Go to magome Juku town and explore the nakasendo trail
-Or explore mount fuji for the day instead of everything else
– Sleep at Mugegawa Hot Spring

November 24
– We go to Gifu
– Explore Igawa Lane and Yoshida River
– Go to Taki Shrine
– Do Ibukiyama Driveway
-Leave at night to drive back to Tokyo.

November 25
– Explore tokyo in the morning
– Take car back to airport

  1. Your first day, you’re unlikely to be able to explore both Shibuya and Asakusa on the same day when you arrive at the airport mid afternoon, get through customs and immigration, sort out the rental car and then drive into Tokyo.

    So on your second day you have over 8 hours of driving, without taking into account any traffic, exploration etc. That’s not really going to leave you much time to do the things at the destinations that you want to. For for the two days you’re out of Tokyo you’re talking 16 hours of driving.
