4. I still dream of a world where Juice’s awesome win over Jay wasn’t ruined by the Cody run.

   But I’d say this ranks alongside Kenny and above Jay White rn. With those 3 being the only great reigns.

6. If he comes out of WK with the belt, it’ll at that point be the best US reign in my opinion. Especially as that WK defence will likely be vs Shingo.

10. Whether it ends at WK or not (and honestly, I love Shingo but I hope Ospreay retains), I feel like it will be. I’ve loved it so far.

    Side note, holy shit I love Gideon Grey. Unironically one of my favorite part of NJPW right now. 😀

Omega was the perfect inaugural champion and had a strong reign, he’s reminded for the Jericho match but the defense against Trent rocked too and then he had the Jay White match, speaking of which was another important reign as Jay was in his first reign and he show that he was already capable of being a good heel champion, had a good match with Page and a strong program with Juice.

14. Will’s Reign works because each title defense has felt different and has belt exciting. And the stories for each feud have had a good or decent build. The last remarkable reign with that was Kenny where each opponent he had was different.

17. Id say…arguably? There’s definitely a case to be made that Wills reign is the best. I don’t know that everyone would say he’s the first great title reign for that title, but look at the other reigns.

    Kenny: Inaugural reign during his prime NJPW years.

    Jay: On his way to becoming King Switch, wasn’t quite there yet.

    Juice: Again, didn’t feel like he was quite ready.

    Cody: WTF?!

    Archer: Was past his prime.

    Moxley: Marred by bad booking/natural disasters/covid. Legit, that belt got cursed.

    Tana did a lot to elevate it.

    What I don’t think is debatable is that Will spent 2022 making people care about that title, even overcoming the clunky Sanada/Juice/Osprey situation. His defenses are all memorable. I care about this belt again. I think a lot of folks do.

    TL;DR: I argued both sides because I thought I’d made a decision on this topic, but lost confidence halfway through and began to ramble.

One of my favorite njpw wrestler and my first favorite aew wrestler kenny omega reign with the iwgp us title was great and it was my first time seeing him defending the title against Chris jericho at wrestle kingdom 12 2018 which is my first favorite iwgp us title match and one of my favorite njpw matches of all time in my list and in of all of one of my favorite njpw and first aew wrestler kenny omega matches in my list that is will never ever forget and jon moxley reign with the iwgp us title was great and better becuase Jon moxley held the iwgp us title alot for longest reign jon has a long reign to my 3rd favorite iwgp title the iwgp us title jon had a long reign to that title than anybody else and I will never ever forget him defending the title and watching his iwgp us title matches against Kenta at last year new beginning in USA New japan strong episode which was my first new japan strong episode that I will never forget and the match was great and against Lance archer at wrestle kingdom 14 2020 in a hardcore match and at aew until jon moxley lost the belt for the first time against Lance archer which was both great matches and against minoru suzuki at njpw new beginning in Osaka 2020 which was a great match and against yuiji nagata at aew for the first time great match but jon moxley reign is better in my opinion even tho he was never and is never my favorite njpw and aew wrestler.

39. Well, Id like to say Jay’s run from beating Kenny to loosing it to Juice was good, but lately the title has seen many great holders that got absolutely cursed.
