“Over half of Japan companies don’t want to pay labor living wages” – ftfy
Half of Japan’s companies suffering from people refusing to work for shit pay.
They seem to have a pretty good system to squeeze double the working hours out of a single person so I’m sure they’ll get along just fine with 50% capacity.
I am a Japanese hiki neet without any skills but maybe I can get a job then.
Every management position is filled though
Here’s a thought. Companies should work more on changing their company culture by giving younger employees more responsibilities.
The country as a whole needs to work even more on making the country welcoming to foreign workers. This would maybe then also help companies get better at developing foreign markets as well.
Because over half of Japanese companies are trash.
Honestly promising for foreigners who are interested in traveling
Is this shortage based on a 40 hour work week, or a 100 hour work week??
If only they would pay their workers a living wage. Theyve not increased pay in 30 years.
They don’t want to hire people though, so what can be done?
Pay peanuts and wonder why no one wants to work for them…
I’ve been looking for a job here for the past five months!
Maybe …it’s me!?!
When you spend all of your time working and are still unable to get by, it is better to not work and suffer than to work and suffer.
It seems that people have too little money or too much, and the distance between widens every year. The future is scary…
How about offering good work/life balance and a living wage?
Not getting enough pay is the only reason why I had to move to the U.S.A
After all the shit that nonregular workers went through during the pandemic, and for that matter the preceding eight years – the pay is/was only the start of it – the *companies* complaining about not being able to find any just feels like sweet revenge.
They also are extremely abusive, terrible at managing, and over work their workers to horrid degreees.
It changes if they can fire old useless employees. Fire old people, hire young people.
If Japan wants their economy to grow, they need to pay people better. Losing domestic workers overseas where companies pay twice as much.
Labor Importation is a must for Japan, or they will have issues on their hands soon. 😓
the shortage isn’t nearly as bad as they say it is until they actually have to increase wages
The accurate title should be : over half of Japan companies are offering too low wages and poor working conditions.
For 3 months now they have drained us by 12 Hours a day
Still dramatically under utilizing women.
