Ospreay really really hasn’t been a heel for a /long/ time really. They kept on dialing back after his Resurgence promo. It’s mainly weird because they went over the top to make him a big heel but didn’t go for it really
NJPW does not operate the way AEW does. Outside of BC/HoT, there aren’t really any actual heels. Suzuki-gun used to be, once upon a time, but Tekkers have been bordering on faces for a while now. It’s not really an apt comparison.
