Cafe/restaurant work as a English & Mandarin speaker

Hi! I’m wondering how feasible it is to find work at a cafe or restaurant as someone that only speaks English and Mandarin. How have people found these jobs in the past?

  1. With zero Japanese? It’s not impossible, but you’re not going to be able to communicate with the vast majority of customers or employers. You’ll have to hit the pavement to look for opportunities.
