11. Ugh i wish i liked uni. Had it at two really high end omakase places and a few other nice sushi spots and it isn’t “bad” to me. Just not worth the price tag compared to high end tuna. And too expensive to just brute force acquire the taste. Very cool tho!

13. I’m so mad I’ve never tried uni.

    My dad is a fisher/diver for my tribe in the PNW.

    When I was young he used to fish for sea urchins. We had giant bins of these things lying around all the time.

    But I was a kid and sushi was nasty to me. I had that shit fresh out of the water and could have had the best experience, but young me had a young pallet. Frozen pizza and cereal was my go to meals.

    Now he doesn’t do sea urchin anymore. We do however get fresh crab shrimp and salmon all the time, so that’s a plus however.
