I’m wondering if you guys can recommend a book club I can join? It’s almost five years and I still don’t have friends in Tokyo.
I love reading books or just walking around taking photos of the cityscapes or go to parks or visit coffee shops but the ones I met are more into partying and night life.
I’m 27 and introverted so that might be the reason but I’d love to have a friend to talk girl topics to and go shopping with. I used to have a very tight knit group in my home country and I miss that kind of feeling. I would really appreciate if you guys can recommend thank you!

I have no clue at all about book clubs, especially for foreigners like us haha
I read books often though (32m), and my friend (29f) has started reading more recently. If you’d like to hang out with us just shoot me a message! She’s currently visiting family back home, but I remember her saying that she’d like more female friends for girl talk too. She’s an extrovert though so consider yourself warned!
Otherwise, my best suggestion would be to try using the MeetUp app and get to know a few people through there. You’ve probably heard about it from others and it has worked for me!

How about starting one yourself? Put it on meetup. You might find some people.
Try setting something up in a local Facebook group.
