Hey all, I’ll be visiting the above places (plus a few more cities) in a month. I was wondering if it’s easy to find Taxis in these places? I’ll be going to more ‘nature-y’ places a bit further from the city, like Bijin Bayashi Forest in Niigata.
Will it be hard to get Taxis there, and is there any mobile app for ride-hailing in these areas? Thanks!

Would not expect to find taxi in the middle of the forest. For that kind of place it can make much more sense to rent a car.
You can probably call for a taxi, but they’ll charge you a surcharge just to get out there. Rent a car.
