Back when I was living in Japan, I was going to Kagaya in Shinbashi almost once a month. Probably my favourite place ever! Showing it to friends for the first time without telling them about the concept and seeing their bewildered face was priceless.
I know it closed because of the pandemic. Does anyone know if the owner is planning to reopen anytime soon?

Its been gone for a long time now. I went by a few weeks ago just to make myself sad again. No more frog man.
I think it’s lost forever. Along with the robot restaurant and Mario cosplay karts.

I think he’d be better suited to somewhere like Koenji.
