In response to user feedback, this is a recurring thread for general discussion about learning Japanese, and for asking your questions about grammar, learning resources, and so on. Let’s come together and share our successes, what we’ve been reading or watching and chat about the ups and downs of Japanese learning.
The /r/Japanese rules (see [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/japanese/about/rules/)) still apply! Translation requests still belong in /r/translator and we ask that you be helpful and considerate of both your own level and the level of the person you’re responding to. If you have a question, please check the subreddit’s [frequently asked questions](https://www.reddit.com/r/japanese/?f=flair_name%3A%22FAQ%E3%83%BB%E3%82%88%E3%81%8F%E3%81%82%E3%82%8B%E8%B3%AA%E5%95%8F%22), but we won’t be as strict as usual on the rules here as we are for standalone threads.

If anyone can explain this a bit further is much appreciated really. [This is from 漢字検定 website](https://kanken.jitenon.jp/mondai6/kousei01.html) that I really like. 記号 part is what I’m asking about not the exercises.
あ. I know means Jukugo made with 2 antonym characters.
い. I know means Jukugo made with 2 synonym characters.
う. I think means Upper character explains/modify the Lower character’s meaning.
え. I am perplexed a bit about is it: If you read it in reverse it explains the meaning better? Does something like 安心 works like that?
I am genuinely curious about this. It feels important to me in studying especially considering how categorizing is so important in learning grammar.
Is there a way to tell apart when to use クラス vs 授業? I feel like I used to know but forgot T.T
I have also found many words that could mean “tutor” but can’t figure out the correct one of I mean like a language tutor.
Hello, I’m looking for a Japanese(I believe) saying, that goes among the next lines: “If you’re sorry, just give me money”, or something like this.
Is there such saying in the first place?
