Hey! I’m planning to go to lake Kawaguchi to camp for a night next week as I’m going to be visiting the area to see Mount Fuji. Any recommendations for camping sites where you can rent a tent? I’m thinking of Kawaguchi-machi New bridge campground but I’m wondering if others have any other recommendations? Preferably one with easy access to public transport.

Just came back from Mount Fuji camping resort. It’s not near the lake and also not very accessible my public transport but it’s got rental tent and everything plus it’s a beautiful location.
Not sure what kind of camping you’re planning on but [I stayed here](https://maps.app.goo.gl/wtV7Gb9yJ6ofyNuB6) around Lake Motosu with some friends and had fun. Great views of Fuji on the classic lake (the one from the back of the bill) paddling their kayaks. It seems a little last minute to be looking for a place, though…
How did you get into Japan?
Pica is nice but don’t think it has good public transportation.
