hi!
my friend is Japanese and I’ve been learning it for some time now, mostly some kanji recognition and the alphabet. i want to try writing her a card, but my knowledge on Japanese sentence structure is very thin (the most I know is the SOV structure). unfortunately I can’t afford workbooks or anything right now, so I learn mostly off of Duolingo, renshuu, and online sites for some simple lessons.
i would really appreciate it if you all left some sentence structures and words I could use for the card (joy, happiness, even though…)! if it helps, I mainly just want to tell her that I want her to have a happy day!
