Hey Everyone. My partner and I are traveling to Japan in December’22 and have booked USJ ticket + express pass for the same.
Now the problem is my super genius partner booked the express pass seperately for each of us (he forgot to mention 2 adults the first time!). The issue here is since we booked the express pass seperately, we have received different entry hours for the attractions. I am okay with going on the rides seperately but it seems even the entry to the attraction areas is also in restricted time slot
Below is what it shows in one of the passes:
14:10〜 Super Nintendo Worldâ„¢ Area Entry Hours â—‹14:30-15:00 Mario Kart: Koopa’s Challenge
15:30〜 Harry Potter™ Area Entry Hours
â—‹15:50-16:20 Forbidden Journeyâ„¢
Can somebody shed some light whether the entry to these areas is also restricted to the time slot or its just the rides.
I need to decide accordingly if I have custard for dessert today or my partner!!!

I just went yesterday. Super Mario World entry ticket gets checked pre entry, and scanned a bit later before actual entry. So likely you will be stopped until your entry time because it’s SUPER busy in there.
No one was scanning or checking for Harry Potter. Only for actual express pass use for a ride. Even then, express pass times were a bit loose as the person I was with had 10-20min time differences from me but got in with me anyway.
