  3. Most of the time I would honestly rather eat at Burger King than at Isomaru Suisan (磯丸水産).

    Isomaru Suisan can be fun, especially a few drinks in, but trying to cross the izakaya experience with fast food concept also introduces a lot of negatives. It’s definitely the easiest way for a non-Japanese speaker to eat that sort of food in Japan, though.

    You go to a Burger King in Japan, and order… Burger King Sushi!

  8. Man I have a very similar picture from there from my visit in 2019. Is that in Kanda Station, Tokyo?

  9. Oh no, Kanda was where I often went when I craved BK!

    Of course, that was only once in a year or so, not exactly reliable repeat business.

    Anyway this is a big improvement, I crave this chain more often than BK!

  10. Tbh I really like japans Burger King. It was a haven for food allergy sufferers like me
