I know there’s not always direct translations for words from EN to JP – so I’ll not ask that, but is there something I can use to emphasize that I am talking about multiple objects?
e.g “That cat and dog are cute” -> 「このねこ＆いぬはかわいい」
What would “&” be?

We would use “to” | “と” in that case.
multiple objects “and” would be と. so it would say この猫(ねこ)と犬(いぬ)はかわいい
Use と (e.g. 猫と犬)
