My group and I will be in Japan in January, and we were only able to book a ryokan in Kawaguchiko on our second to the last day. We want to go straight to the airport right after checking out (morning) but preferably without switching buses at Shinjuku. While I’ve seen some schedules online, I’m not given the option to make a booking for a bus that goes straight to Haneda or Narita (we’re thinking of flying to Chitose after but haven’t booked a flight yet). Has anyone here experienced doing this? Not sure if I want to gamble and buy during the trip itself since we’re a rather big party (9 people) and there might not be enough seats.

I feel like you’re better off booking the bus to Shinjuku, then hopping on the train to the airport
Currently only [a single bus service](http://hnd-bus.com/guide2/pdf/h-kawaguchiko-en.pdf?u=2211141200) is expected to operate from Kawaguchiko to Haneda and no services operate from Kawaguchiko to Narita.
Bus to Shinjuku. Bus to Haneda or train to Narita.
